Duty Manager (potential Assistant Manager)

An experienced hotel manager is required to assist the Licensee in the day to day operations of a busy Far South Coast hotel. Previous exposure to book-keeping, banking, social media promotions and staff training would be an advantage as well as being proficient in bar, cellar, TAB, Keno, gaming and food service operations.

The successful applicant will be comfortable in “taking the reins” in the Licensee’s absence and will be rewarded with an above award salary, great working conditions and potential advancement whilst receiving invaluable mentoring from industry professionals.

Local bar staff required with TAB, Keno, Gaming , Bar and food service qualifications and experience.
Availability on weekends, and nights essential. HIGA Award rates.

Experienced/qualified chef to join our well respected and successful chef who has built up our trade over the past six years to a point where assistance to take us to the next level whilst maintaining our continued growth is required.

The successful applicant will be able to lead and mentor our two third year apprentices and talented kitchen brigade whilst bringing fresh ideas and capabilities to our Bistro 1878.

Availability for weekend work and split shifts is expected whilst above award wages and excellent working conditions are available from supportive owners and management.
